Salama Fadhil
Salama Fadhil is a field coordinator of a cohort study aimed to determine the incidence and determinants of hypertension among 1000 HIV-infected and uninfected adults. Previously, she worked in the same capacity in a cross-sectional study to determine the prevalence and predictors of diastolic dysfunction in HIV-infected and uninfected adults, and in a cross-sectional study to investigate the associations between schistosomiasis and HIV among HIV positive patients living in Mwanza city.
Salama main research interests is on the interactions between HIV and chronic non- communicable diseases.
